Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a ride, contact us or apply for a corporate or affiliate account, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number and email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel dates, flight details, passenger and luggage counts, child-seat needs, notes, and company billing details.

Partner and corporate applications. Business applicants may also send company registration details, insurance certificates, W-9 forms, operating authority and other documents. These may include a tax identification number.

Information collected automatically. Our web server records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use your IP address to protect our forms from spam and abuse. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website.

How we use your information

• To quote, confirm, dispatch and complete your ride.
• To send confirmations, chauffeur details and trip updates by text, email or phone.
• To track your flight so we can time an airport pickup.
• To invoice corporate accounts and keep business records.
• To review partner applications and check insurance and licensing.
• To answer your questions and improve our service.
• To meet legal, tax and safety duties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to provide our service:

• Chauffeurs and affiliate operators who carry out your trip receive the passenger name, contact number, addresses and trip details.
• Service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, our business email provider, and Google Maps Platform. Google Maps powers the address suggestions and trip distance on our booking form, so the addresses you type are sent to Google for that purpose.
• Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of passengers, chauffeurs or the public.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as cookies that keep the site fast and secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google Maps may set its own cookies when the booking form loads address suggestions.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation records for as long as needed for billing, tax and legal purposes, usually up to seven years. Partner application documents are kept while the application or partnership is active and for a reasonable time afterwards. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.

How we protect it

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Uploaded partner documents are stored in a protected folder that cannot be opened from the public web, and only authorized staff can access them. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To make a request, email info@bostonlimoservice.us or call (617) 701-7061. If your information is involved in a security breach, we will notify you as required by Massachusetts law.

Children

Our website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Parents and guardians book rides for children and give us only the details needed for child seats and safe travel.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
